🇺🇸 Wishing you a very Happy early 4th of July!! 🇺🇸
Just because you’re eating healthy doesn’t mean you have to decline or shy away from attending summer BBQ’s or parties. It just means you have to be more mindful and make wise food choices. (Think STOP-CHALLENGE-CHOOSE!) Here are some ideas to keep you on plan during this 4th without missing out on enjoying the company of family and friends:
• Eat before you go
• Offer to bring a healthy side or main dish
• Drink a glass of water or seltzer before eating
• Use small plates
• Do a lap around the buffet line before filling up your plate
• Go bun-less
• Eat slowly and mindfully
You can have fun AND make healthy choices!
